HumanSearch

why?

More and more nowadays, when we have questions, our searchbars tend to look like this:

[actual question] reddit

AI Mode

Unforunately, this feels like the easiest way to get answers from actual human beings.

well that sucks...

Agreed, but there's not much we can do about it individually. Here's a way to save some time though.

1. Select your browser:
Google Chrome
Apple Safari (MacOS)
2. Go to chrome://settings/searchEngines
3. Click the Add button for Search Engines and paste these values into the input boxes:
Name
HumanSearch
Shortcut
https://humansearch.diodzi.dev
URL with %s in place of query
https://humansearch.diodzi.dev?search=%s
Suggestions URL with %s in place of query
https://humansearch.diodzi.dev/api/suggest?q=%s
5. Save! Now, simply add ? to the end of any of your queries instead of adding reddit :)
2. Download this extension from the Mac App Store.
3. Follow the onboarding instructions from the extension.
4. Set the "Default Search Engine" in the extension to match below
Search URL
https://humansearch.diodzi.dev?search=%s
